Ministry Evangelism

During the last few years, drastic and marvelous changes have taken place around the world as we have seen freedom gates thrown wide open for opportunities to preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through these opportunities we see evidence of people hurting for the lack of love and someone to care.

"Ministry Evangelism" is simply loving and caring for people in the name of Jesus Christ.  It is meeting people at their point of need and ministering to their physical and spiritual needs.  The intent of ministry evangelism is to present the good news of the gospel in order to introduce them to Jesus.  Ministry Evangelism is not manipulative.  It is giving ourselves lovingly and unconditionally.

This is where the airplane makes its mark!  As missionary pilots fly into the "back country" on unimproved landing strips, lakes and rivers, they have the wonderful opportunity to minister to meet the needs of people who often times are referred to as "the forgotten."

Jesus' ministry was like a breath of fresh air.  He healed the sick, comforted the afflicted, fed the hungry and loved the unlovable.  He was moved with compassion for those who were in need.  Today, we must use His example of love and caring.
